At the forum, PBM Medical Laser demonstrated the design and implementation of a high-energy semiconductor laser therapy device for brain rehabilitation. The instrument utilizes the biological tissue penetration of near infrared light (600nm-900nm) to activate the mitochondria within the cell, causing the mitochondria to produce more ATP, activating the anti-oxidant mechanism (ROS), inducing neuron survival, reducing inflammatory responses in the brain, and enhancing the blood flow to the brain, which is expected to open up an innovative pathway in the treatment of neurological disorders.

These former innovations are now deeply embedded in PBM's high-energy laser rehabilitation product line, and PBM is showcasing the results, including the highest power and most wavelengths ever achieved in a brain-healing semiconductor laser therapeutic device. Thanks to our original DPHL® technology, peak power is up to 30W, enabling deeper treatment depths. Based on the advanced MFC® technology platform, the integration of 5 effective treatment wavelengths enables the therapeutic instrument to provide customised spectral treatment solutions for different types of tissue and pathology needs. Key technological innovation points such as the narrow laser pulse output with a pulse width of only 5μs were also demonstrated, reflecting the company's profound accumulation in medical technology innovation.

Looking ahead, the socio-economic value of this innovative technology should not be underestimated. PBM's semiconductor high-energy laser device is expected to provide clinicians with a powerful tool for exploring the rehabilitation of brain diseases. It can be applied to the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, mental illnesses and sleep disorders, which can help to improve the quality of sleep, enhance cognitive ability, slow down memory loss, and have therapeutic potential for improving Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and depression.

PBM's cutting-edge technological achievements and breakthroughs on display this time

PBM's presentation at IFE is not only a report of results, but also a demonstration of the great potential of high-energy laser applications in the field of life sciences, and PBM will continue to use innovation as a wing to draw a better vision of technology and healthcare going hand in hand.
